Hadith of Husayn ibn Muhsin (may Allah be pleased with them)

حَدِيثُ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ عَنْ عَمَّةٍ لَهُ (١)، ١٩٠٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ الْحُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ، أَنَّ عَمَّةً لَهُ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَاجَةٍ، فَفَرَغَتْ مِنْ حَاجَتِهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَذَاتُ زَوْجٍ أَنْتِ؟ " قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " كَيْفَ أَنْتِ لَهُ؟ " قَالَتْ: مَا آلُوهُ إِلَّا مَا عَجَزْتُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: " فَانْظُرِي أَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ جَنَّتُكِ وَنَارُكِ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Husain bin Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with him) that his paternal aunt came to the service of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) for some need. When the work was completed, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Are you married?" She replied, "Yes." The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Do you serve your husband?" She said, "I do not fall short in this except when I am unable to do something." The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Be mindful of this, for he is your Paradise and your Hell."
