Hadith of Dhirar ibn al-Azwar (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ ضِرَارِ بْنِ الْأَزْوَرِ، ١٨٩٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ ضِرَارِ بْنِ الْأَزْوَرِ قَالَ: بَعَثَنِي أَهْلِي بِلَقُوحٍ، وَقَالَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ: بِلَقْحَةٍ، إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا، فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَحْلُبَهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " دَعْ دَاعِيَ اللَّبَنِ " قَالَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ: " لَا تُجْهِدَنَّهَا " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Dhirar bin Azwar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once my family sent me to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) with a milking she-camel. I presented myself, and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) instructed me to milk her. Then the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Leave enough milk in her udders so that it can be obtained again.
