Hadith of Sa‘id ibn Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ (١)، ١٨٧٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، أَخٍ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ بَاعَ دَارًا أَوْ عَقَارًا، فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ ثَمَنَهَا فِي مِثْلِهِ، كَانَ قَمِنًا أَنْ لَا يُبَارَكَ لَهُ فِيهِ " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from Saeed bin Hareeth (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever sells a house or property and does not invest its price in something similar, then he deserves that there should be no blessing placed for him in that money.
