Hadith of Abu Tarif (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ أَبِي طَرِيفٍ (١) (٢)، ١٥٤٣٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شُمَيْلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي طَرِيفٍ، قَالَ: " كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ حَاصَرَ الطَّائِفَ وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا صَلَاةَ النَّصْرِ (٣) ، حَتَّى لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَمَى لَرَأَى (٤) مَوْقِعَ نَبْلِهِ " (٥)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

It is narrated from Abu Turaif that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) laid siege to Ta’if, I was with him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to lead us in the Maghrib prayer at such a time that if a person shot an arrow, he could see the place where the arrow fell.
