Hadith of Ayman ibn Khuraym (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ، ١٨٠٤٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ الْفَزَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ فَاتِكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ، قَالَ: قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطِيبًا فَقَالَ: " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، عَدَلَتْ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ إِشْرَاكًا بِاللهِ " ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: {فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْأَوْثَانِ، وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ} (١) [الحج: ٣٠]، ،

It is narrated from Ayman bin Khuraym (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up to deliver a sermon and said three times: O people! False testimony is equal to associating partners with Allah. Then he recited this verse: So avoid the filth of idols and avoid speaking falsehood.
