Hadith of Abu Amrah from his father

حَدِيثُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ١٧٢٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ أَرْبَعَةُ نَفَرٍ وَمَعَنَا فَرَسٌ فَأَعْطَى كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنَّا سَهْمًا، وَأَعْطَى الْفَرَسَ سَهْمَيْنِ " (١)، ،

Abu Amrah narrates from his father that we went to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we were four men and had a horse with us. The Prophet (peace be upon him) gave each of us one share and gave the horse two shares.
