Hadith of Wathilah ibn al-Asqa'

حَدِيثُ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " ذَكَرَ الشَّيْخُ أَنَّهُ مُعَادٌ فَلَمْ أَكْتُبْهُ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Wathilah bin Asqa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to us and said: “Do you think that I will be the last among you to pass away? Remember! I will be the first among you to pass away, and after me, such calamities will befall you that you will begin to destroy one another yourselves.”
