Hadith of Al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ (١)، • ١٦٧٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي عَلِيٌّ: سَلْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُلَاعِبُ امْرَأَتَهُ، فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَذْيُ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَاءِ الْحَيَاةِ؟ قَالَ: " يَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ، وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Miqdad bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Ali said to me: Ask the Prophet (ﷺ) about the ruling for a person who plays with his wife and madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), which is not semen, comes out from his private part. In response, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: He should wash his private part and perform ablution as for prayer.
