Ahadith of Abu al-Hakam, or al-Hakam ibn Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him)

أَبُو الْحَكَمِ، أَوِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ (١)، ١٥٣٨٤ - حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ، (٢) أَوِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بَالَ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ، وَنَضَحَ فَرْجَهُ " (٣)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

It is narrated from Abu al-Hakam or Hakam that once I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) that he urinated, then performed ablution and sprinkled water on his private part. Shareek says: I asked the family of Hakam bin Sufyan, and they informed me that they had not met the Prophet (ﷺ).

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ شَرِيكٌ: " سَأَلْتُ أَهْلَ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، فَذَكَرُوا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)، °

Sharik says that I asked the family of Hakam bin Sufyan, so they informed me that they had not met the Prophet (ﷺ).

قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ أَوْ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَالَ، ثُمَّ - يَعْنِي - نَضَحَ فَرْجَهُ " (٢)، ،
