Hadith of a woman (may Allah be pleased with her)

حَدِيثُ امْرَأَةٍ، ١٦٦٥٠ - حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ ابن ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ (١) قَالَ: وَقَدْ كَانَتْ صَلَّتِ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لِي: " اخْتَضِبِي، تَتْرُكُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ الْخِضَابَ حَتَّى تَكُونَ يَدُهَا كَيَدِ الرَّجُلِ "، قَالَتْ: فَمَا تَرَكَتِ الْخِضَابَ حَتَّى لَقِيَتِ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ لَتَخْتَضِبُ وَإِنَّهَا لَابْنَةُ ثَمَانِينَ (٢)، ،

A woman who had the honor of praying towards both Qiblahs says that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to my house and said to me: Apply henna, you women stop applying henna and your hands become like men's hands. After that, I never stopped applying henna and I will continue to do so until I meet Allah. The narrator says that even at the age of one hundred years, she used to apply henna.
