Hadith of a woman (may Allah be pleased with her)

حَدِيثُ امْرَأَةٍ، ١٦٦٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُمْ قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا آكُلُ بِشِمَالِي وَكُنْتُ امْرَأَةً عَسْرَاءَ، فَضَرَبَ يَدِي فَسَقَطَتِ اللُّقْمَةُ فَقَالَ: " لَا تَأْكُلِي بِشِمَالِكِ وَقَدْ جَعَلَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لَكِ يَمِينًا "، أَوْ قَالَ: " قَدْ أَطْلَقَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَكِ يَمِينَكِ "، قَالَ: فَتَحَوَّلَتْ شِمَالِي يَمِينًا فَمَا أَكَلْتُ بِهَا بَعْدُ (١)، ،

It is narrated from a female companion (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to my place while I was eating with my left hand. I was a poor woman. The Prophet (peace be upon him) struck my hand, causing the morsel to fall, and said: When Allah has made your right hand, do not eat with your left hand. So I started eating with my right hand and after that, I never ate with my left hand again.
