Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مَنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٦٥٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ بِمِنًى وَنَزَّلَهُمْ مَنَازِلَهُمْ وَقَالَ: " لِيَنْزِلِ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ هَاهُنَا "، وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مَيْمَنَةِ الْقِبْلَةِ، " وَالْأَنْصَارُ هَاهُنَا "، وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةِ الْقِبْلَةِ، " ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِلِ النَّاسُ حَوْلَهُمْ "، قَالَ: وَعَلَّمَهُمْ مَنَاسِكَهُمْ، فَفُتِّحَتْ أَسْمَاعُ أَهْلِ مِنًى حَتَّى سَمِعُوهُ فِي مَنَازِلِهِمْ، قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " ارْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ "، (١)، ، قَالَ عَبْدِ اللهِ: سَمِعْتُ مُصْعَبًا الزُّبَيْرِيَّ يَقُولُ: جَاءَ، ، أَبُو طَلْحَةَ الْقَاصُّ إِلَى مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ، إِنَّ قَوْمًا قَدْ نَهَوْنِي أَنْ أَقُصَّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ " صَلَّى الله عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، وَعَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَعَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ "، فَقَالَ (١) مَالِكٌ: حَدِّثْ بِهِ وَقُصَّ بِهِ وَقُولَهُ (٢) (٣)، ،

It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) in the plain of Mina seated the people in their places and, delivering a sermon, said: "Let the Muhajirun settle here," and he pointed to the right side of the Qiblah; "and let the Ansar settle here," and he pointed to the left side of the Qiblah; then the people settled around them. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) taught them the rites of Hajj, which opened the ears of the people of Mina, and everyone in their own encampment could hear the voice of the Prophet (ﷺ). I also heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "Pelt the Jamarat with pebbles like the size of date stones." It is narrated that a man named Abu Talha Wa'iz came to Imam Malik and said: "O Abu Abdullah! People stop me from narrating this hadith: 'Send blessings upon Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim, indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious, and upon the family of Muhammad and upon his wives.'" Imam Malik said: "You may narrate this hadith and mention it in your sermons."
