Hadith of thirty from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدِيثُ ثَلَاثِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٦٤١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ: حَفِظْنَا عَنْ ثَلَاثِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (١) أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِقْصًا لَهُ فِي مَمْلُوكٍ ضَمِنَ بَقِيَّتَهُ " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib that we have memorized this hadith from thirty Companions, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever frees his share in a slave, he becomes responsible for the remainder.
