Hadith of Abdullah ibn Aqram (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ (١)، ١٦٤٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ أَبِيهِ بِالْقَاعِ مِنْ نَمِرَةَ، فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَكْبٌ فَقَالَ أَبِي: يَا بُنَيَّ، كُنْ فِي بَهْمِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمَ فَأُسَائِلَهُمْ، فَدَنَا وَدَنَوْتُ " فَكُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عُفْرَتَيْ إِبْطَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Aqram that once I was with my father in a low-lying area. Meanwhile, a group of riders passed near us. My father said to me, "Son, you stay here with these animals, I will go to those people and ask them something." So he went near them, and I also followed behind him. At that time, the Prophet (ﷺ) was in prostration. I began to look at the whiteness of the blessed armpits of the Prophet (ﷺ).

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي أَقْرَمَ بِالْقَاعِ، قَالَ: فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَكْبٌ، فَأَنَاخُوا بِنَاحِيَةِ الطَّرِيقِ، فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي: أَيْ بُنَيَّ، كُنْ فِي بَهْمِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمَ وَأُسَائِلَهُمْ، قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ وَخَرَجْتُ فِي إِثْرِهِ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ، فَكُنْتُ " أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عُفْرَتَيْ إِبْطَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلَّمَا سَجَدَ " (١)،
