Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٦٣٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْتَسِلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيَتَسَوَّكُ وَيَمَسُّ مِنْ طِيبٍ إِنْ كَانَ لِأَهْلِهِ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from an Ansari companion that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Every Muslim has three duties on Friday: to perform ghusl, to use the miswak, and to apply perfume, provided he has it.
