Chapter 1
It is narrated from Walid bin Uqbah that when the Prophet (ﷺ) conquered Makkah, the people of Makkah began bringing their children to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) would place his hand on their heads and pray for them. I too was brought to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ). At that time, I had applied a fragrance called khuluq, so the Prophet (ﷺ) did not place his hand on my head. There was no other reason except that my mother had applied khuluq to me.
