Hadith of a man (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ، ١٥٨٩٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ خَالِهِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَعْشِرُ قَوْمِي؟ قَالَ: " إِنَّمَا الْعُشُورُ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ، وَالنَّصَارَى وَلَيْسَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ عُشُورٌ " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

A man from Bakr bin Wa'il narrates from his maternal uncle: Once I submitted in the presence of the Prophet, "O Messenger of Allah! I collect tax from my people." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Tax is imposed on Jews and Christians; there is no tax on Muslims."

قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الثَّقَفِيِّ، عَنْ خَالِهِ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ لَهُ أَشْيَاءَ فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: أَعْشِرُهَا؟ فَقَالَ: " إِنَّمَا الْعُشُورُ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ، وَالنَّصَارَى، وَلَيْسَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ عُشُورٌ " (١)،

حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمِّية (١) ، رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَغْلِبَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ عُشُورٌ، إِنَّمَا الْعُشُورُ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ، وَالنَّصَارَى " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from Abu Umayyah that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "Tax is imposed on the Jews and Christians; there is no tax on the Muslims."
