Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٥٨٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ الطَّيِّبِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي غُرْفَتِي هَذِهِ، حَسِبْتُ قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ لَهُ حَمْرَاءَ مُخَضْرَمَةٍ، فَقَالَ: " هَذَا يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ، وَهَذَا يَوْمُ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ " (١)، ،

Marrah al-Tayyib says that in this very room, a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated this hadith to me: The Prophet (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah while riding his red camels and said: This is the day of sacrifice and this is the day of the greater Hajj.
