Hadith of a man (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ، ١٥٨٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ، " رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from a companion who visited the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) once offered prayer in only one garment in such a way that he took both its ends from opposite sides and placed them on his shoulders.
