Hadith of a woman (may Allah be pleased with her)

حَدِيثُ امْرَأَةٍ، ٢٧٣٦٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي دَيْلَمٌ أَبُو غَالِبٍ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ جَحْلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ الْكِرَامِ أَنَّهَا حَجَّتْ قَالَتْ: فَلَقِيتُ امْرَأَةً بِمَكَّةَ، كَثِيرَةَ الْحَشَمِ، لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ حُلِيٌّ إِلَّا الْفِضَّةُ، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا: مَا لِي لَا أَرَى عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ حَشَمِكِ حُلِيًّا إِلَّا الْفِضَّةَ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ جَدِّي عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ عَلَيَّ قُرْطَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " شِهَابَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ "، فَنَحْنُ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا يَلْبَسُ حُلِيًّا إِلَّا الْفِضَّةَ (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

Umm Karam says that once she went for Hajj, where she met a woman in Makkah Mukarramah who had many maidservants with her, but none of them wore any jewelry except silver. I asked her, "What is the matter? I do not see any jewelry on your maidservant except silver." She said: "My grandfather once went to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ), and I was with him, and I was wearing two gold earrings. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'These are two flames of fire.' Since then, no woman in our house wears any jewelry except silver."
