Hadith of one of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدِيثُ إِحْدَى نِسْوَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ٢٧١٣٤ - حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَمَّا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ؟ فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرَتْنِي إِحْدَى نِسْوَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ " أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْفَأْرَةِ، وَالْعَقْرَبِ، وَالْكَلْبِ الْعَقُورِ، وَالْحُدَيَّا، وَالْغُرَابِ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once someone asked the Prophet (ﷺ): O Messenger of Allah! After entering into Ihram, which animals are we allowed to kill? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There is no harm in killing five kinds of animals: the scorpion, the mouse, the kite, the crow, and the rabid dog."
