Hadith of 'Asim ibn 'Adi (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ (١)، ٢٣٧٧٤ - حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِلرِّعَاءِ بِأَنْ يَرْمُوا يَوْمًا وَيَدَعُوا يَوْمًا " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from Asim bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) while staying in the plain of Mina, permitted the camel herders to perform the stoning (rami) on one day and leave it on the next day (i.e., to perform the stoning for two days together).

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِرِعَاءِ الْإِبِلِ فِي الْبَيْتُوتَةِ عَنْ مِنًى يَرْمُونَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، ثُمَّ يَرْمُونَ الْغَدَ، أَوْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَدِ الْيَوْمَيْنِ، ثُمَّ يَرْمُونَ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ " (١)، ،

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: " أَرْخَصَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرِعَاءِ الْإِبِلِ فِي الْبَيْتُوتَةِ أَنْ يَرْمُوا يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُوا رَمْيَ يَوْمَيْنِ بَعْدَ النَّحْرِ، فَيَرْمُونَهُ فِي أَحَدِهِمَا "، قَالَ مَالِكٌ: ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرِ مِنْهُمَا، ثُمَّ يَرْمُونَ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ (١)،

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحٌ (٢) ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ،، ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْخَصَ لِلرِّعَاءِ أَنْ يَتَعَاقَبُوا فَيَرْمُوا يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، ثُمَّ يَدَعُوا يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً، ثُمَّ يَرْمُوا الْغَدَ " (١)، ،
