Hadith of a group from Banu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them)

حَدِيثُ نَفَرٍ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، ٢٣٦١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ (١) بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ نَفَرٍ، مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، قَالُوا: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسًا فَشَقَّ ثَوْبَهُ فَقَالَ: " إِنِّي وَاعَدْتُ هَدْيًا يُشْعَرُ الْيَوْمَ " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from a group of Banu Salamah that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting, when he took off his sewn clothes and said that a sacrificial animal had been sent, which would be marked today.
