حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا، فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ، وَمَنْ حَمَلَهُ، فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever bathes a deceased person should also perform ghusl himself, and whoever carries the bier should perform wudu.
