حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ بَابًا، فَأَدْنَاهُ إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، وَأَرْفَعُهَا قَوْلُ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Faith has more than seventy branches, the most excellent and highest of which is saying "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah), and the lightest of them is removing something harmful from the path.
