حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ عَادَ مَرِيضًا وَمَعَهُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مِنْ وَعْكٍ كَانَ بِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَبْشِرْ، إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ: نَارِي أُسَلِّطُهَا عَلَى عَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا، لِتَكُونَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once went to visit a sick person "who had a fever." Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) was also with him. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: Rejoice, for Allah Almighty says: I impose My fire upon My believing servant in this world so that the portion he has for the Hereafter is fulfilled in this world itself.
