حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَرْفَعُ اللهُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ، وَيُكَفِّرُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا؟ كَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ، وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Shall I not tell you of something by which Allah raises ranks and erases sins? Performing ablution thoroughly despite natural dislike (especially in cold weather), taking many steps towards the mosques, and waiting for the next prayer after performing one prayer.
