حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ، فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً، أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ، أو لقمة أو لقمتين - وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ: أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ (٥) - فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلَاجَهُ وَحَرَّهُ " (٦)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a servant among you takes care of preparing food for you, then he should make him sit with him and feed him as well. If he cannot do so, then he should give him one or two morsels.
