حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى رَجُلٍ تَرَكَ دِينَارَيْنِ، أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كَيَّتَانِ (١) أَوْ ثَلَاثَةٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) led the funeral prayer of a man who had left behind two or three dinars (which were taken by committing treachery with the spoils of war). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "These are coals of fire."
