حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ، أَوْ تَشَاجَرْتُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، فَدَعُوا سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When there is a dispute among you regarding the measurement of a path, then resolve it by agreeing upon seven cubits.
