حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ (١) بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: بَيْنَمَا نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، إِذْ قَالَ: " يَا عَائِشَةُ، نَاوِلِينِي الثَّوْبَ "، قَالَتْ: إِنِّي لَسْتُ أُصَلِّي، قَالَ: " إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي يَدِكِ "، فَنَاوَلَتْهُ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) was in the mosque. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), "Hand me the cloth." She said, "I cannot pray." The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your impurity is not in your hand." So she handed the cloth to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
