حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَمِيرِ: فِيهَا زَكَاةٌ؟ فَقَالَ: " مَا جَاءَنِي فِيهَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ الْفَاذَّةُ: {مَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ} " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about the zakat of donkeys. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty has revealed this comprehensive and sufficient verse about them: "Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it."
