حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا زَنَتْ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا، فَإِنْ عَادَتِ الثَّانِيَةَ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا، فَإِنْ عَادَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلَا يُعَيِّرْهَا، فَإِنْ عَادَتِ الرَّابِعَةَ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلْيَبِعْهَا بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ " أَوْ " بِضَفِيرٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: If any of you has a slave-girl who commits adultery and her crime is proven, then give her the punishment of lashes but do not disgrace her. Then, if she commits the same sin a third or fourth time, he said: Sell her, even if her fate is only a rope made of hair.
