. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) went on a military expedition, where the Muslims were afflicted by hunger and were surrounded by a severe need for food. They sought permission from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) to slaughter their camels. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) granted them permission. When Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) learned of this, he presented himself before the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), will they slaughter the very camels on which they ride and with which they approach the enemy? O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), please have them bring whatever provisions they have in scattered amounts, and pray to Allah for blessing in it." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) accepted his suggestion and had the scattered provisions that were present in the camp brought together. The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) brought whatever leftover food they had. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) gathered it and prayed to Allah for blessing in it, and said, "Bring your own vessels." Everyone's vessels were filled, and a large quantity was still left over. Upon this, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and that I am Allah's servant and His Messenger. Whoever meets Allah with these two testimonies, without having any doubt in them, will enter Paradise."
