حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ (٢) ، قَالَ: عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْهُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِسَعْدٍ وَهُوَ يَدْعُو، فَقَالَ: " أَحِّدْ أَحِّدْ " (٣)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once passed by Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was supplicating (and during this he was gesturing with two fingers). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Gesture with one finger, with one finger."
