وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَنْزِلُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ (٢) كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ حِينَ يَمْضِي ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ، فَيَقُولُ: أَنَا الْمَلِكُ - مَرَّتَيْنِ - مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ؟ مَنَ الَّذِي يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟ فَلَا يَزَالُ كَذَلِكَ، ، حَتَّى يُضِيءَ الْفَجْرُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
And the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: Every night, when one third of the night remains, Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven and announces: I am the True King (twice). Who is there who supplicates to Me so that I may accept his supplication? Who is there who seeks forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him? Who is there who asks from Me so that I may grant him? This announcement continues until the break of dawn.
