حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ لِلْمَسَاجِدِ أَوْتَادًا الْمَلَائِكَةُ جُلَسَاؤُهُمْ، إِنْ غَابُوا يَفْتَقِدُونَهُمْ، (٣) وَإِنْ مَرِضُوا عَادُوهُمْ،، ، وَإِنْ كَانُوا فِي حَاجَةٍ أَعَانُوهُمْ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Some people are the pegs of the mosque; the angels are their companions. If they are absent, the angels search for them; if they become ill, the angels visit them; and if they are occupied in some work, the angels help them.
