حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ أَبَا الْحُبَابِ، أخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ مِنْ طَيِّبٍ، وَلَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ إِلَّا طَيِّبًا، وَلَا يَصْعَدُ إِلَى (١) السَّمَاءِ إِلَّا طَيِّبٌ، إِلَّا وَهُوَ يَضَعُهَا فِي يَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ - أَوْ فِي كَفِّ الرَّحْمَنِ - فَيُرَبِّيهَا لَهُ كَمَا يُرَبِّي أَحَدُكُمْ فَلُوَّهُ - أَوْ فَصِيلَهُ - حَتَّى إِنَّ التَّمْرَةَ لَتَكُونُ مِثْلَ الْجَبَلِ الْعَظِيمِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a servant gives charity from lawful wealth, Allah—Who accepts only what is lawful—accepts it and takes it with His right hand, and just as one of you raises and nurtures his young goat, likewise Allah nurtures it, until a single date becomes like a great mountain.
