حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَخَذَ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهَا، أَدَّى الله عَنْهُ، وَمَنْ أَخَذَهَا يُرِيدُ - يَعْنِي - تَلَفَهَا، أَتْلَفَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever takes people's wealth (as a loan) with the intention of repaying it, Allah will have it repaid on his behalf; and whoever takes it with the intention of wasting it, Allah will have it wasted for him.
