حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا قَيْسٌ، وحَبِيبٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " فِي كُلِّ الصَّلَوَاتِ يُقْرَأُ، فَمَا أَسْمَعَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْمَعْنَاكُمْ، وَمَا أَخْفَى عَنَّا أَخْفَيْنَا عَنْكُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that recitation is done in every prayer. However, in those prayers in which the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) recited aloud to us, we too will recite aloud to you, and in those in which he recited quietly, we too will recite quietly.
