حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَمِعَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْإِقَامَةَ، فَلْيَأْتِ عَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ، فَمَا أَدْرَكَ فَلْيُصَلِّ، وَمَا فَاتَهُ فَلْيُتِمَّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any one of you hears the call for Iqamah, he should come with calmness and tranquility. Whatever part of the prayer he catches, he should perform, and whatever he misses, he should complete.
