حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَيَرْتَقِيَنَّ (١) جَبَّارٌ مِنْ جَبَابِرَةِ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ عَلَى مِنْبَرِي هَذَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saying: Soon, one of the oppressors from among the oppressors of Banu Umayyah will seize control of this pulpit of mine.
