حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانٌ (٤) ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ، ، سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أُمِرْتُ بِقَرْيَةٍ تَأْكُلُ الْقُرَى، وَتَنْفِي الْخَبَثَ، كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have been commanded to go to a town which will consume all other towns, and it will remove people's sins just as a blacksmith's furnace removes the impurities of iron.
