حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ يَعْنِي أَبَا زَيْدٍ الْقَسْمَلِيَّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ،، ، فَقَالَ: " فِي الْمَذْيِ الْوُضُوءُ، وَفِي الْمَنِيِّ الْغُسْلُ " (١)، •
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
I was a man who emitted a lot of madhi. I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about that and he said: “For madhi, wudoo` should be done and for mani, ghusl should be done.`
