حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَرْفَعُهُ، قَالَ: " لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَسْرِقُ (١) حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَالتَّوْبَةُ مَعْرُوضَةٌ بَعْدُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a person commits adultery, he is not a believer at that moment; when a person steals, he is not a believer at that moment; when a person drinks alcohol, he is not a believer at that moment. And the door of repentance is open.
