حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ الْأَغْرِّ (٣) ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَعْنِي قَالَ اللهُ -: " الْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي، وَالْعَظَمَةُ إِزَارِي، فَمَنْ نَازَعَنِي وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمَا أَدْخَلْتُهُ جَهَنَّمَ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty has said, "Majesty is My upper garment and honor is My lower garment; whoever disputes with Me regarding either of them, I will cast him into Hell."
