Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " بُعِثْتُ مِنْ خَيْرِ قُرُونِ بَنِي آدَمَ قَرْنًا فَقَرْنًا، حَتَّى بُعِثْتُ مِنَ الْقَرْنِ الَّذِي كُنْتُ مِنْهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have been transferred through the best generations of the children of Adam in the succession of times, until I was sent in this era.
