حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَوْلَا مَا فِي الْبُيُوتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالذُّرِّيَّةِ، لَأَقَمْتُ الصَّلَاةَ، صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَأَمَرْتُ فِتْيَانِي يُحْرِقُونَ مَا فِي الْبُيُوتِ بِالنَّارِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If there were no women and children in the houses, I would order the prayer of Isha to be established and then instruct my young men to set fire to whatever is in those houses.
