حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ (٣) بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ لَهِيعَةَ (٤) بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَرْدِ، قَالَ إسحَاقُ الْمَدِينِيُّ:، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْخَيْلَ الْمُنَفِّلَةَ، فَإِنَّهَا إِنْ تَلْقَ تَفِرَّ، وَإِنْ تَغْنَمْ تَغُلَّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: "Refrain from using those horses that become fat by eating fragrant grass, for if they encounter the enemy, they run away, and if they obtain spoils of war, they commit treachery."
