حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " أَعْفُوا اللِّحَى، وَخُذُوا، ، الشَّوَارِبَ، وَغَيِّرُوا شَيْبَكُمْ، وَلَا تَشَبَّهُوا بِالْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Trim your moustaches well and let your beards grow fully, and change the white color of your hair, but do not imitate the Jews and Christians.
